Kekoa Kalani Nihoa

On September 19th, 2007, at 9am, the littlest Nihoa came into this world. He was 21" long and weighed 7lbs.-11 oz. He was born to my son Jordan Nihoa and daughter-in-law Melissa Alarcon.

Kekoa translates to "the brave one" and Kalani translates as "sky" or "heaven". So, I guess his name could translate as "The Brave One of Heaven".

Let's back up a little bit to before Kekoa was actually born! These two pictures are from a sonagram that Melissa had.

Everybody was trying to hold him, he was so small (well at least to me he was!)
